Trucks and Paint. What could be better?

 I decided, during a day of running errands, to take Mason to Michael's.  He remained amazingly calm and almost interested in all the various arts and crafts projects lining the aisles.  As we were wrapping up our shopping adventure, we came across an end cap full of wooden model cars, tractors, boats, and planes.  The best part - - they were $1 each and came with glue and paint.  Such an inexpensive project turned into a fun afternoon of gluing, painting, and playing (once the paint dried of course).

Sweet Morning Moments

Ben and I wake up everyone morning to Mason proudly announcing "it's not dark anymore".  He then crawls into bed and watches Blues Clues, while we try to sneak in a few more moments of sleep.

I must admit that some of the best family time is had very early in the morning.  Even Josephine would agree!

There is nothing better than the love between a boy and his dog.
